  • Creme de la Creme: The Creme de la Creme closes on 1/31/11 at 11 pm (EST). I will be working for the next two weeks or so to get the final posts up on the list.
  • Question: AFM writes, "I am in week 10 of my pregnancy and my BhCG's are falling but the baby is okay. My doctor says things can plateau, but I thought this was meant to happen in the second trimester not week 10. Has this happened to anyone else? After 3 losses I'm a tad worried."
  • Foster-to-Adopt: Mom to 4+ More has written about a foster-to-adopt opening on her blog.

  • Ash and Pat were matched for an adoption and then as quickly as it began it was over. Please go and comfort her as we can only imagine how disappointed they are right now in this whirlwind of emotions over the past few days.

  • MamaLJ writes, "This is me asking for help, thoughts, prayers, whatever. We're struggling with a failed placement for foster-to-adopt and dealing with some rough times. Also hoping to connect to people who have been through something similar, or just want to offer encouragement. I've never posted something of my own at LFCA, but the few times that someone else has done that for me have blown me away with support and encouragement. I desperately need some of that right now."
  • Melissa just experienced her second canceled IVF cycle, please go flood her with support.
  • Lisa at The Pursuit of Pregnancy got bad news about her 2nd IVF cycle this past weekend. After several days of getting light lines on HPTs, she had a beta of 6 and then one of 2. Please stop by and offer her some comfort and hugs as she attempts to heal.

  • Mrs Joyner gave birth to a little girl on January 27. Go wish her congratulations.
  • After almost six years waiting to become parents, and three disrupted adoptions, Amber & Dave FINALLY went to court this past Friday and finalized their adoption of baby Aidan. Go wish them congratulations.
  • Tbean & S welcomed their little turtles -- twin boys -- on Jan 28. Although born at only 32w4d, the boys are doing well. Please go wish these mamas congratulations, it took them over 3 years to get to this happy moment!

  • Liddy raced in the US Nationals for speedskating last weekend. She scored gold in the 800m, DQed in the 1000m, Silver in the 1500. She did her personal best in 500, took silver in 3000, and came in 2nd overall. Please go wish her congratulations!
  • Write, Baby, Repeat is on bedrest following transfer of two embryos from her donor egg cycle. Please go keep her company and wish her well!
  • Waiting for u, baby is getting inconclusive betas. Hold her hand while she waits for good news.
  • Abracadabra Baby's FET resulted in a BFN. She hopes to start a fresh round of IVF (with PGD) soon. Stop by and give her some support.
  • Adele is disappointed that this last IVF cycle was converted to an IUI, go over and give her some love.
  • Melissa G got an abnormally high E2 result after 10 days on lupron, which means she cannot start stims this week as planned. She would love to get more information from other people who've dealt with this, or at the very least some support. Please stop by if you can help!
  • Tara over at Turkey In My Oven got some sudden news about her husband's possible deployment situation, and it's come as a bit of a shock. She could use some kind words right now.
  • JL is PUPO from her 3 day transfer today!

  • Project: My Hopeful Journey is asking for your help to bring awareness to infertility for National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW). She is asking you to contact your local library to have them feature books relating to infertility between April 24th - 30th during NIAW. She says, "I cannot do this by myself, BUT with you, we can!"
  • Memorial: Kristin is organizing a memorial for Lola, to let Wiseguy know that her daughter will never be forgotten. Please let Kirsten know if you'd like to participate.

  • Announcement: The National Institutes of Health is hosting a meeting next week to finalize plans to roll out a comprehensive new vision for reproductive health in America. This vision will lead to a white paper statement and guide the government’s research agenda for years to come. One of our own blogger community, Dr. Paul Turek will guide discussion of how mens reproductive health is a window to overall health.

  • Warrior Woman is at a crossroads in her treatment and is wondering if she should stick with the OB who she loves or move on to an RE. As someone newly diagnosed with IF, she could use some advice and support.
  • Jane is PUPO after her embryo transfer yesterday!
  • Heather from Can I Get Some Sugar With These Lemons could use some extra support right now as she processes feelings of guilt and loss. Just as she and her husband were adjusting to a surprise pregnancy after many failed treatments and wading through the adoption process, they receive a referral for a baby boy, that Heather writes, "would have been our son."
  • Susan found out today that on the 4th of February -- the day she and her husband are to be in NYC for her initial appointment to see if she's accepted to an IVF study that she will no longer have a job as her department has been downsized. She isn't sure if she will be able to join the study knowing she will only have a limited severance and unemployment benefits at this time.

  • Jo is remembering both of her babies as she approaches two very difficult days: the anniversary of the loss of her first (January 7th) and the unfulfilled due date of her second (January 14th).
  • Sue is remembering her sons this week. Jacob's birth and death date is on the 3rd. Joshua's birth and death date is on the 4th.
  • AMS will be remembering Lennox and Zoe who were born on the 3rd. Lennox died on the 5th and Zoe died later in the month.

  • J lost her daughter Lily on Jan 5th. Lilith Faith was 13 days old. J went through many miscarriages before finally having a sustainable pregnancy. The loss of Lily is truly devastating.   • After finding out she was pregnant unexpectedly, Michele began miscarrying on Christmas Eve. She is finding it hard to deal with, in light of her loss history and Bobby & Maya turning 16 months old.
  • Cece's father passed away on Thursday. Please give her support.

  • Lisa has DOR at the age of 28 and is embarking on her 2nd IVF attempt. She is seeing a new RE and doing the most aggressive Antagonist protocol. Please wish her luck.
  • Lulu just found out she has a bicornuate (heart-shaped) uterus in addition to PCOS. She is trying not to panic, and could use advice or knowledge from those who have either to share.
  • After 5 years of TTC, 2 losses, 1 ectopic, 10 IUI's and 4 IVF's, Jess is moving on to embryo adoption/donation. She is interested in making connections with others who may be in a similar situation. While she is excited, she is also nervous and could really use the support.
  • Christy, whose 4-month-old daughter Cami was born with hydrocephalus & holoprosencephaly and is currently in the hospital, is facing the additional stress of the possible loss of their house where they have lived throughout their marriage. They could use your support.
  • Elizabeth has received the referral and picture for her daughter, Leah, from Korea! Please go and celebrate this wonderful milestone in her adoption journey with her.
  • Faithful Journey is feeling a bit down after a delay in her next IUI cycle.
  • Whitney & Erick writes: "It has now been 5 years that we have been trying to conceive and we're getting ready to start IVF#5. This is an anniversary we never wanted to reach."

  • After having twins this summer, and a surprise pregnancy test, Eileen is going through another miscarriage.
  • Parker lost his fight to Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome at 11 days old on 12/30/10.
  • Jen gave birth to her twin girls Ainsley and Evelyn last night at 32 weeks. Evelyn passed away unexpectedly and Ainsley is holding on at Children's Hospital. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

  • Please go offer Jenn much needed love and support. Their much anticipated adoption turned out to be a failed match; birth parents decided to parent the day he was born. What incredible heartache she must be feeling right now.
  • Tara's father-in-law has been diagnosed with cancer on Christmas Eve. His doctors found 3 tumors in his brain and the diagnosis is terminal. Please shower her and her husband with thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

  • AndSoItGoes is excited, hopeful, and a bit nervous as they are starting their first IVF cycle.

  • Paranoid is back after a year-long break, to announce the shock of her life: two years after three separate doctors told her that she would never conceive naturally again (as she lacks any functioning fallopian tubes), she is pregnant! She is still trying to understand how that's even possible.
  • Sharah just learned that she is expecting their second child on August 10, 2011!
