Friday's Connections Abound

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The Face-to-Face Lost and Found page is permanently located beneath this current post. Old Connections Abound can be accessed via the date or subject archives listed on the sidebar. Check the submissions page, FAQ, and ways to get involved for additional information. Email me at thetowncriers@gmail.com with any questions/concerns.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

Connections Abound

MISCELLANEOUS NEWS
New
  • Connections: Fumbling Towards Eggstacy is looking for a few types of stories: diminished ovarian reserve, people who have done ovarian priming, DHEA, and HGH, as well as TCM. If you've had experience with any of these things, please go connect with her via her blog.
  • Call for Interviews: two reporters have separately contacted Pamela Jeanne after her NY Times story this week asking her to connect them to specific populations of bloggers. If you'd like to be interviewed for an IF article (and I cannot speak to the angle the journalists are taking at all so tread carefully) and you live in San Antonia/Austin area OR if you live anywhere and have never conceived and are at least 30-years-old, email Pamela Jeanne.
  • New and Improved: the IVP has a new webring feature! Calliope has information of her blog about it or you can access it here.
  • Password Please?: After All That recently went password protected and there are bloggers who wanted to keep reading. If people have a way of getting in touch with Thrice, please let her know.
Old
  • Online Shower: Thalia is throwing Flicka an online shower for her upcoming adoption. Click over to join in.
  • Follow-up: Remember that Parenting magazine debate about whether women should be able to use treatments if they have existing children (remember that one? Where your blood started boiling?). Click here for the quotes and answers. Click here to leave your thoughts.
  • Sign-up began for the Roundup Extravaganza (the summer version of the Creme de la Creme). Head over if you want to participate. There are already over 100 on the list!
  • If you notice another loading slow down or receive error messages for Stirrup Queens or Lost and Found, please let me know. Now I'm nervous every time I add anything to the side bar!
