Connections Abound

MISCELLANEOUS NEWS
New
  • Broken air conditioner + house full of cranky people + frantic work deadline = no LFCA. Orry-say. Pig Latin + 34-year-old woman = quite sad.
  • Connection: Calling all Wisconsin (and specifically Milwaukee) bloggers and readers. Or those who have great connections in Milwaukee. Liza may be moving there soon and would love to connect with others. Meet her via her blog. She has introduced me to so many cool people online that I am just excited to have the opportunity to possibly make an introduction myself.
  • Question: "I have a friend whose husband has just been diagnosed with Klinefelter's Syndrome (XXY males). Is there anyone who blogs about ttcing with this? I thought she might like to read stories about people who are dealing with the same diagnosis. I have put a post with this question on my blog." Head over if you can help her out.
Old
  • If you notice another loading slow down or receive error messages for Stirrup Queens or Lost and Found, please let me know. Now I'm nervous every time I add anything to the side bar!

  • None Today.
MISCELLANEOUS SUPPORT AND CELEBRATIONS (scary scans, anxious waits, OHSS, and a host of other reasons why these bloggers could use some additional support right now. Also, celebratory retrievals, transfers, and other good news)
  • Please Give Good Thoughts: I've written before about Mary who is a non-blog-writer (though a constant drinker at the Virtual Lushary). She was on the donor embryo list, had her transfer on the 11th, and got a positive beta this week. She is excited and terrified because she has had 4 positives on 4 IVF cycles and then not had the beta double. Today is her second beta (and her first time using donor embryos). Please leave her a message of good luck on this post and she will collect them.
  • My Little Drummer Boys is in a terrible place right now. She could use support.
  • Lightning in a Bottle is having surgery to have her uterus removed today. Please go flood her with support.
  • Fertile Yet Infertile is having her transfer for her final cycle on Sunday. They collected 15 eggs from the donor. Go wish her good luck.
  • Yoka is quite literally on the Road to Adopt. She is leaving this afternoon because the expectant mother's water broke. Please go wish everyone there good luck with this journey.
  • Life in a Holding Pattern just found out she has an abnormal Factor V Leiden gene in addition to her uterine anomaly. She could use some serious love.
  • Miracles and Dreams got some bad FSH results and they are going to have to move on to more aggressive treaments in her attempts for a second.
  • From the Desk of Miss W may have a surrogate.
  • The Wizard of Ovulation is experiencing some spotting and could use some support.
  • IrishGirl could use some support. Her first beta came in on the low side and none of the four remaining embryos made it to freeze. Go give her a hug while she waits for her second beta.
  • Kim at There is Weenie Juice on My Cookie is having some new job angst topped with M/C due date next Wednesday and her mom is having surgery next Tuesday. She could use some hugs.
  • Michell has a job interview next week and she is having a bit of a dilemma. Go over and give her support.
  • Beth's dad's health is failing, and she and her siblings are going to have to put him in a nursing home. Please give her support as she makes some very difficult choices.
  • Rho at Nobaby Lane received her meds! Yeah! She is beginning her last IVF-covered cycle.... please wish her luck.
  • Luck Doesn't Happen Twice's daughter is in the NICU. Please go over and give her support.
  • Justamere IVF is starting IVF #2!
  • Got Embryo is starting FET #1 on Monday.
  • KimboSue has been diagnosed with borderline PCOS and IUI #4 is tentatively scheduled for Monday.
  • The Impatient Patient could use some advice about maintaining her relationship with her newly-pregnant best friend.
  • The Angry Infertile is going through a tough time and could use a hug.
  • Infertility on the Brain is starting IVF #1, Part II!
  • Lovesbabyhopes did not ovulate this month on Clomid. She is moving on to a cycle with 250mgs of Clomid.
  • Jaded Me had a horrible day at work and could use a little love.
BEDREST BABES: on bedrest following infertility or loss and needing support. Drop in on them and keep them company.

Jennifer with the question about the godmother -- I tried to click on your blog to see if I could help, but it couldn't connect through the link. Come over to my blog or shoot me an email at ifnitysmith @ gmail dot com and I'd be happy to see if I can help. I have experience on being the god-daughter side.

Mary,
Wishing you the best of luck as you watch your betas in the next few weeks. It's so hard, isn't it? I've had two pregnancies in which the betas doubled, but there was not heartbeat, so I understand your fears.
We are also pursuing embryo adoption, so your good news breathes hope into me.
I'll be thinking about you and I will also beg Mel to post your results. :)
