Tuesday's Connections Abound

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The Face-to-Face Lost and Found page is permanently located beneath this current post. Lost and Found is open to anyone in the infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). MISCELLANEOUS NEWS
New
  • Desperately need more coffee. Or sleep. Coffee or sleep, which is it?
  • Invite Only: Scrambled Eggz went invite only. If you haven't received an invitation, you can email her to be added.
  • Questions: Isn't It Pretty to Think So has some FET questions. If you've had a FET cycle, go over to her blog and see if you can tackle them.
  • Question: Mommy Wanna-be would like some advice about possibly taking in her SILs infant daughter while she is still on the trying to conceive roller coaster.

  • Invite Only: Speculum Stories went private this weekend. If anyone wants to continue to read they need to email her at speculumstories@gmail.com.
  • Fundraiser: In Search of Biscuit 2.0 is holding a silent auction on July 19th to benefit a friend whose son was diagnosed with histiocytosis. If you have anything you can donate (service-wise or tangible) that she can auction off, contact her through her blog.
  • IComLeavWe kicked off last week. Come on...a measly week is much more do-able than a full month, nu?
  • If you notice another loading slow down or receive error messages for Stirrup Queens or Lost and Found, please let me know. Now I'm nervous every time I add anything to the side bar!

  • I'm an Ova-Achiever celebrated her 5th anniversary last week!
  • Apron Strings for Emily celebrated her birthday on Sunday. It's not too late to go sing her a little song.
  • The Duchess celebrated her anniversary last week. Go wish them congratulations.
  • It was Turkey in My Oven's blogoversary and 100th post this weekend. Go wish her congratulations.

LOSS ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • Horses, Cats, and Dogs...Oh My! has lost her daughter at 21 weeks. Though she has not been a member of the community until now, I think it could be helpful for her to have the support from those who have gone through loss too.
MISCELLANEOUS SUPPORT AND CELEBRATIONS (scary scans, anxious waits, OHSS, and a host of other reasons why these bloggers could use some additional support right now. Also, celebratory retrievals, transfers, and other good news)
  • Kim at There's Weenie Juice on my Cookie is having a hard time. This is her month of her unfulfilled due date and her shadow pregnancy delivered as well.
  • Irish Girl at Plan B: Life As I Didn't Plan It is scheduled for ER tomorrow. Go wish her good luck.
  • Afterwards is having a hard time right now. Please go over and give her support.
  • Busted needs support right now. The hospital coordinator cannot locate the twins and she does not know whether they have been buried in the cemetery or are lost. Please go sit with her while she awaits information.
  • Natalie is having a lot of mixed emotions in the two week wait. And this is an impossibly difficult one. Please go give her a hug.
  • Deanna at The Open Door is requesting support for a friend in the adoption process. You can leave a message on Deanna's blog.
  • Anniep at Onemoreweek needs company while she awaits the results of her embryos genetic tests.
  • Infertility on the Brain has started a new IVF cycle.
  • IVF Drama Unscripted received a negative beta.
  • After having safe betas, Just Off Magazine has had some bleeding. Please give her some support as she waits for her first appointment tomorrow.
  • The Life and Times of KimboSue is starting IUI cycle #4 and is also being tested for PCOS. Send her good thoughts as she waits for the results.
  • Tracy at Baby Steps was definately chosen for the donor embryos and she is moving ahead with the FET cycle.
  • Trish at Fertile Hope received great results from her MRI All things looked normal although they still haven't figured out why she is having numbness and Robbie has now been off the vent for over 36 hours - his longest record yet!
BEDREST BABES: on bedrest following infertility or loss and needing support. Drop in on them and keep them company.
PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENTS AND NEWS
  • Antigone Lost had a great ultrasound. Heartbeat going strong.
  • Ange had a good ultrasound, with a heartbeat.

Can I ask for messages of support? My dear friend Vicki - who had preemie twin sons in April after 5 rounds of IVF - lost one of her sons, B, on June 22nd. She's having a hard time. She doesn't have a blog, but if you want to comment on my post today, I will forward it to her (this isn't an attempt to get my comments up but because Vicki doesn't blog.)
