Wednesday's Connections Abound

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point to Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

MISCELLANEOUS NEWS
New
  • Kirtsy'd Pick O' the Day: Please vote for this one from The Lilith Blog. It is a very funny poem about receiving baby pictures via email. I especially loved the line: "Delete! To the trash! He’s a garbage pail kid now." How do you vote? Simply by clicking on the link above and then clicking on the post's title. Why the Kirtsy'd Pick O' the Day? Click on that link in the header navigation bar above for the story. And send me stuff!
  • 99 people already on the The Creme de la Creme List. Are you? Who will be #100?
  • Project That We Must, Must, Must Do and I Must, Must, Must Write With All the Information: So, I messed up this one yesterday. To view the address click on the link at the bottom of the post. The key is "gingerbreadboy." This is what I said yesterday: "This is pretty much the most fun I've seen in a bit and I'm going postcard hunting this afternoon. Fractured Rainbows has this Gingerbread Boy project and she has invited everyone to send in a postcard that her class will read telling the story of the Gingerbread Boy's travels around the world. Seriously, you must read the post and then get creative. I am so excited about this. This is even better than the traveling Garden Gnome." I sent my card out this morning--the Gingerbread Boy was at the White House helping W pack up.
  • Question: Babytorud says, "I had my 20 week u/s last week and they found a choriod plexus cyst on the baby's brain. We are being sent to see a perinatologist next week for a level 2 u/s. I am wondering if anyone has experienced this and what the results were. I am freaking out and would love to talk to someone who has experience with this or is going through it right now."
