762nd Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

MISCELLANEOUS NEWS
New

  • Cyclesista: A new list is up at cyclesista! Please support bloggers who are cycling this month, or list yourself if you're undergoing treatments.
  • Book: Lavender Luz's book, The Open-Hearted Way to Open Adoption has gone up for pre-sale on Amazon!  Go wish her congratulations.
  • Project: Parenthood for Me writes, "Check out this post and learn about the Grieving Dads Project founded by Kelly Farley. Farley and his wife experienced a miscarriage and stillbirth. He started the project to help men with similar experiences. Excellent resource for bereaved dads."
  • Project: Are you doing the Time Warp this month? Through Time Warp Tuesday we revisit and share some of our favorite blog entries from our archives and reflect on our journeys since we wrote them. The theme for November is Books.  Choose a post from your archives in which you wrote about one or more books that you have read. The post could be a book review, a blog entry that was part of a book tour/book club discussion or just references a book(s) that you love, moved you or that changed the way you think about something. Then write a new post on your blog about why you chose the post that you did and what has happened in your life since.  Join us for some great reading, reflection and discussion. Linky opens at midnight (CST) on Tuesday, November 13th.
  • Blog Change: Amanda at Growing Griswolds has recently changed the URL for her blog. The new URL is http://www.growinggriswolds.blogspot.com.
  • Vote: Please take a moment to support Dear Finley in the Circle of Mom's Top 25 European Union Mom Blogs. By having a blog that speaks of babyloss on this list, it is an invaluable opportunity to raise awareness. You can vote once per day by clicking here.  Thanks so much.
