785th Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

MISCELLANEOUS NEWS
New

  • Project: Bereaved and Blessed asks, "Are you doing the Time Warp this month? Through Time Warp Tuesday we revisit and share some of our favorite blog entries from our archives or another blogger's and reflect on our journeys since we wrote or read them. The theme for the month is Advice.  Sometimes we appreciate receiving good advice from mentors and other loved ones. In other cases unsolicited advice can come off as condescending and judgmental. Choose a post from your archives OR another blogger’s in which you or they wrote about advice. The blog entry could about helpful or not so helpful advice that you or the writer gave or received. It could also speak to how you feel about giving or receiving advice. Then write a new post on your blog about why you chose the post that you did and what has happened in your life since it was written.  Join us for some great reading, reflection and discussion. Linky opens at 12:00 a.m. (CST) on Tuesday, July 9th."

MISCELLANEOUS SUPPORT AND CELEBRATIONS (scary scans, anxious waits, OHSS, and a host of other reasons why these bloggers could use some additional support right now. Also, celebratory retrievals, transfers, and other good news)
  • Rachel is going through a devastating time of dealing with an adoption that did not go through. Please give her your support.
  • The anon blogger The Queen Mom is having an internal struggle after a two month break regarding revisiting TTC.  She already has one son via adoption and while the blog isn't about TTC with infertility, it often leans that way and she could use some support and advice from those who have adopted and aren't sure if their families are complete or not.
  • Risa has just completed a 3-day embryo transfer and this is the only embryo her and her husband have.  Please stop by and offer her support as she goes through the biggest TWW of her infertility journey.
BEDREST BABES: on bedrest following infertility or loss and needing support. Drop in on them and keep them company. Blurbs running underneath the "new" line are from this week, and the ones above that line will disappear on Sunday. Please do not re-list bedrest blurbs.
