796th Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership.   • Creme de la Creme: the 2013 Creme de la Creme list will open for submissions on October 15th.  That link will work once the list goes live on Tuesday.  The Creme de la Creme will be posted on January 1st, as always.

  • Event: Attention San Francisco-area readers: Adoption Connection and the On Your Feet Foundation are hosting a workshop by Lori Holden (LavenderLuz.com) about openness in adoption this Thursday evening, October 17. After Lori's presentation there will be a birth mother panel responding to questions. Pre-registration is required and space is limited, so make your reservations soon.

MISCELLANEOUS SUPPORT AND CELEBRATIONS (scary scans, anxious waits, OHSS, and a host of other reasons why these bloggers could use some additional support right now. Also, celebratory retrievals, transfers, and other good news)
  • Finding My New Normal is trying for rainbow baby #2. She is in the middle of a donor egg IVF cycle. Transfer date is estimated to be November 1st. She could use all the good thoughts you can send her way. 
  • Conceptionally Challenged just had the membranes of one of her IVF twins rupture at 20 weeks. The doctors aren't giving her babies much of a chance. She could use some support or experiences from others who have been through PPROM. 
  • In the middle of her first IVF, Kaitake and her husband could use help and advice from others. Currently stimming with Elonva - have you used this? First scan will be Tuesday 15th. Please pop over and wish them luck!
BEDREST BABES: on bedrest following infertility or loss and needing support. Drop in on them and keep them company. Blurbs running underneath the "new" line are from this week, and the ones above that line will disappear on Sunday. Please do not re-list bedrest blurbs.
