338th Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point to Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

MISCELLANEOUS NEWS

  • Kirtsy'd Pick O' the Day: Please vote for this one from Weebles Wobblog. Lori opened her yearly Limerick contest (won in the past by Niobe and Kristen). Go over and talk about another blogger in five lines. How do you vote? Simply by clicking on the words "this one" above and then clicking on the post's title. Why the Kirtsy'd Pick O' the Day? Click on that link in the header navigation bar above for the story. And send me stuff!
  • Georgia Bill Update: Not to make you throw up your breakfast..."The Georgia Senate passed a revised SB 169 bill today, and the bill will now move to the Georgia House. Earlier today the Senate voted to table SB 169 which essentially took the bill out of further consideration by the Senate during this legislative session. During a break in the Senate chamber, the bill was revised once again and re-introduced. It was then voted on and passed 34 to 22. RESOLVE and its partners are now studying the revised SB 169 to determine the affect on infertility patients in Georgia. Once we have given the bill careful review, RESOLVE will provide a full analysis and what the next steps should be. " Read more at Resolve.
  • Opportunity: Can't vouch for the writer or publication, but a journalist is seeking people willing to speak about their experience as an "aspiring single mom or same-sex partners and their search to start families." The article is for NYC24. Please contact Nicole if interested.
