549th Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

Connections Abound

  • Kirtsy'd Pick O' the Day: Please vote for this one from Just Trying to Make a Cub. After finally becoming a mother, the writer wonders what happens to her infertile identity which has been such a large part of her life for years. How do you vote? Simply by clicking on the words "this one" above and then clicking on the post's title. Why the Kirtsy'd Pick O' the Day? Click on that link in the header navigation bar above for the story. And send me stuff!
  • Message to a Blogger: A blogger writes: "Hoping this will help. Lala has been posting since January and there is something wrong with her comments section. No contact information or email on her blog." [editor's note: Locked Womb Mystery--when you click on leave a comment, it doesn't open up a comment box].
  • Giveaway: Justina is offering a Le Creuset giveaway through March 12th.
  • Television: Shelby and Mr. Shelby After many postponements, Shelby and Mr. Shelby (and Baby G!) finally made their appearance on Good Morning America regarding male infertility. The segment can be seen here:
  • Daily Update: There are currently 290 participants on the Creme de la Creme 2009 list.
  • First Time Reading the LFCA: If this is your first time reading the LFCA or you need a refresher about how the LFCA works, please read this post. It has everything you need to know about getting your news in the LFCA.
  • Quicklink Resources: Forums: Join the forums if you'd like additional access to the bulletin boards and other features. I just fixed it (I hope). Comments used to work, but I recently upgraded some things and it messed up some of my settings... thanks for listing this in LFCA!
