780th Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

  • Project: Megan Joplin writes, "I am a NYC-based photographer and I am looking for more participants for my photography series, The Miscarriage Diaries. Specifically I am looking for women (and/or their partners) who have experienced recurrent miscarriage. I will be in France this summer and am desperately looking for someone in France to be a part of the series! I am also available on the East Coast. Please email me if you know of someone or if you yourself are interested. I can be reached at meganfotog at gmail dot com. You can see some of the photos here: and read about the series, here:  THANK YOU!!!

BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES (celebrate your birthday or blogoversary with the community. Send me date at any point and I'll post them on the correct day)
  • None Today.
LOSS REMEMBRANCES (send in the dates of loss anniversaries and I will post them on the correct day)
  • Sadie and her husband are marking the third anniversary of life without their sweet baby boy S this week. All thoughts and prayers as they celebrate his short life would be so appreciated.
  • None Today.
MISCELLANEOUS SUPPORT AND CELEBRATIONS (scary scans, anxious waits, OHSS, and a host of other reasons why these bloggers could use some additional support right now. Also, celebratory retrievals, transfers, and other good news)
  • JJ's cancer has spread to get lymph nodes. The good news is there are no tumors. The bad news is she's now fighting stage III melanoma. She could use all the support we can muster.
  • Waiting, Wishing, Hoping is seriously struggling with drama from her family.  She's hurt, sad and mad about how her own mother dealt with Mother's day.  There has been no response to repeated attempts at communication.  MJ is really having a hard time dealing with the 5-year old silent treatment she's getting from her normally loving, supportive parents.
BEDREST BABES: on bedrest following infertility or loss and needing support. Drop in on them and keep them company. Blurbs running underneath the "new" line are from this week, and the ones above that line will disappear on Sunday. Please do not re-list bedrest blurbs.
