807th Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

Connections Abound

  • IComLeavWe: the April IComLeavWe list is now open.
  • Book: Robin Silbergleid, who writes under a pseudonym in this community, has a book of poems that confronts pregnancy loss. Frida Kahlo, My Sister, now available for pre-order at Finishing Line Press. It has been characterized as a "beautiful and necessary book," "an unflinching look at the body broken, the body held together, the body taken apart."
  • Project: Life as Dad to Donor Insemination Kids writes, "*New* Donor Conception Post Card Project -- If you are a parent, donor, donor conceived person or family member, be creative and submit a postcard with your thoughts, fears, comments related to donor conception. A central FB page is being created to display the cards and promote discussion. Snail mail post cards to: Donor Conception Post Card Project C/O Eric Schwartzman PO Box 6728, FDR Station New York, NY 10150-6728."
  • Project: How Do You Do It?, a blog by and for mothers of multiples, is hosting a week of "Infertility Tales," April 20-26, 2014, to acknowledge Infertility Awareness Week. While some of the writers for the blog do have spontaneously conceived multiples, many contended with infertility (and still do) and want to share their stories and provide a place for others'. The HDYDI authors invite infertility stories, signed or anonymous, brand new or reposted, either published on your behalf on HDYDI or linked in the blog linkup that will be active April 1.
