817th Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

  • Study: Alexandra Farber writes, "Long Island University, Brooklyn is currently conducting a research study to better understand the emotional and psychological experience of women who have experienced infertility. Eligible participants: • Must be women • Must be between 18 and 50 • Must have been trying unsuccessfully to conceive for at least the last 12 months or have received a diagnosis of infertility. Participation involves: • Completing an online questionnaire about general demographics, infertility information, current mood and experience. The survey should take under 30 minutes to complete. • All participants will have the option to be entered into a raffle to win one of three $25 Amazon gift cards at the end of the data collection period, October 2014.   • Marie has given birth to baby Katharine but her baby is still in hospital under going tests. Please pray for her recovery.
  • Life Happens welcomed baby Kathryn into the world Aug 9th.  Go wish her congratulations.
  • After several pregnancy losses and a successful adoption over the last few years, please go help Erin celebrate the birth of her son!
