MISCELLANEOUS NEWS
New
- I'm better. Washed out and still vomiting sometimes when I least expect it, but feeling up to putting together our IKEA bounty. My house is going to be organized, damn it!
- U.T.E.R.U.S. update: Auctions are still happening at US eBay and UK eBay, but the first sense of how much money we've raised has come in. On closed auctions, we have $734. On still-running auctions, we have $132 And on direct donations, we have $750. Which is pretty amazing. If you have donated an item and you item has sold, you will be receiving an email from Jen detailing what you should do next since we want to move efficiently and keep the buyers happy. Some of it was purchased by people all over the world and some was purchased by people within our community. Sales are still continuing and we're over halfway to the goal!
- Question: Where to Go From Here has questions about what tests she should ask for at this first appointment. Go over to her blog and weigh in with your thoughts.
- Question: Holly's friend is suffering from a very extreme case of OHSS and has been feeling the effects for 17 days. She has been in the hospital but "apparently she has a very severe form of OHSS and the doctor here in Austin (Dr. Youngkin) that she is working with has not seen a case to this degree. So I am trying to gather up any resources to help out." She was doing an IUI with injectibles cycle and has PCOS. She is currently pregnant. If you have experienced a very severe case of OHSS and have advice/doctor's names you can pass along, information can be emailed directly to hsmackee@gmail.com.
- Question: I'm a Smart One has questions about testing for recurrent miscarriage, immunological incompatibility, and antiphospolipid testing. Head over to her blog if you can help her out.
- Team On the Road continues to truck along. There are now three teams walking in honour of Lennox and Zoe: Stirrup Queens, My Perky Ovaries, and In Search of Biscuit 2.0. I cannot thank enough those who have donated or posted the code for Team On the Road. We've currently raised $2471! If you would like to help with our March of Dimes fundraising, read this post and join along. There are at least five things you could do!
- If you notice another loading slow down or receive error messages for Stirrup Queens or Lost and Found, please let me know. Now I'm nervous every time I add anything to the side bar!
