You're so stealthy. But I'm cool with people knowing it was my blog that changed. :)

I forgot, Gabriels six month anniversary of his birth and death was Tuesday the 11th. Blog post with pictures that day.

Holy crap. Obviously it's unbelievable that Parenting thought that was a question that should be up for debate, but almost just as incredible is the fact that they reported more people are against repeat use of fertility treatments than are against women exposing their boobies to the public. (Not that I have a problem with that. I just think it makes infinitely more sense to be upset about public breastfeeding insofar as it results in public nudity than to think parents ought to be denied the right to try to expand their family as hey see fit just because they suffer from infertility.)

Can I just say that the reminder about the Parenting Magazine question got my blood boiling again. I know that I have not endured as many fertility treatments as some of the people in this community but this still riles me up something fierce. Atleast most of the people that responded are infertile and gave the editors some education. It is terrible that this was even posed as a question by a magazine about Parenting. isn't it a shame that people in this community have been singled out again and this time by a magazine for parents. I guess we will always feel isolated from "fertile" parents with the struggles that we go through and things like this are the reason why.

Oh, and P.S. I'm sure that those women who are opposed to women seeking fertility treatment after having kids would just LOVE that I want to seek fertility treatment after triplets for heavens' sake.

Ha - the first comment is ME! They only took a snippet of what I said (really, the rest was a lot better and sounded less Jerry Springer) see here if you are interested.

I could not believe what the ones who were against said! I am sure they picked the ones most likely to be the most inflammatory. I think they do that to get as much attention to themselves, their website, magazine and forums as possible. Any publicity is good publicity, eh?
