Wednesday's Connections Abound

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The Face-to-Face Lost and Found page is permanently located beneath this current post. Old Connections Abound can be accessed via the date or subject archives listed on the sidebar. Check the submissions page, FAQ, and ways to get involved for additional information. Email me at thetowncriers@gmail.com with any questions/concerns.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

MISCELLANEOUS NEWS
New
  • Call for Clickers: There are a bunch of open categories that still need Clickers. I've also added a second person to some of the bigger categories that grow quickly with new blogs daily. If you would like to be a Clicker, this is what it entails: you take a section of the blogroll, you click through every blog in your section at least once a week, and you send along anything "newsworthy" along with the blog url--meaning, any time a person either needs support or needs the community to celebrate. In other words, anything that would fit informationwise into one of the existing categories on Lost & Found. If you would like to be a Clicker, look at the list (open categories are marked in orange) and send me an email with your preference for a section. Include a second choice just in case the first choice is filled.
  • Collective Television Viewing: Discussion is going on at Cali's right now about FX's 30Days. If you watched it, jump into the conversation. If you do end up blogging about it, could you let me know? Hinty, hinty, it would really help me out.
  • Question: Andie at The Conceivable Future is looking for stories or resources about RPL, MTHFR, Natural Killer Cells, and Reproductive Immunology as a whole. She has also compiled a fantastic resource list on this.
Old
  • Infertility Outlet: Dramalish has information about an IF board and an invite to all of you: "I am a moderator at a place called 'Baby Steps.' It's a forum of message boards created for women (and the odd man--and yes, most are odd ;)) who have/are experiencing IF in various forms. There are boards for Pursuing Pregnancy, Secondary IF, Grief/Loss, Pregnancy, Adoption, Parenting and a lot more...We're currently looking for new members... so if you want a secure, supportive place to learn, vent, and share, leave me a message or send me an email."
  • Last week to sign-up for the Roundup Extravaganza (the summer version of the Creme de la Creme). Head over if you want to participate.
  • If you notice another loading slow down or receive error messages for Stirrup Queens or Lost and Found, please let me know. Now I'm nervous every time I add anything to the side bar!
