MISCELLANEOUS NEWS
New
  • The Lost and Found is one-year-old today! Happy blogoversary, little lost and found.
  • Bridges began running its first posts today. Click over to read one of our own: Allison from Our Own Creation.
  • BlogHer Panel Video: if you missed BlogHer and want to see the video, Pamela Jeanne has it up on her blog!
  • IF in TVLand: "In case anyone doesn't catch a replay of Mad Men Season 2 Episode 1 before seeing the next episode, I recapped the IF scene a few days ago on my blog."
  • Idea: Feliz Dianne Flutter has a great idea to read through all of the books on the book meme that is going around. Stop by her blog if you want to join along.
  • Question: Isn't it Pretty to Think So? has a question: "I need to get some information about immunology testing. Natural Killer Cells, Leukocyte antibodies, etc. If you have gone through any of this, please contact me. I am trying to decide if it is the route that I need to go. It is an expensive route, and a controversial one, so I am hesitant."
  • Question: Miss Conception has questions about a donor embryo cycle. Please go over if you can answer them.
  • Question: Dorothy's doctor would like her to have a trans-abdominal cerclage to help keep the triplets in as long as possible. If anyone has any information on the topic, please let her know.
  • Question: Natalie asks: "I'm looking to connect with anyone who has run into egg immaturity issues while doing IVF. Apparently it's not very common and the doctor has no clue what to do in regards to treatment, other than doing the same thing we did before and "hope" we get an embryo out of it. There has to be more people who have dealt with this in IF blogland. I'm just desperate to talk to someone who has the same problem... maybe learn a little...."
Old
  • The IComLeavWe list for August is up. Join in the conversation--it's a week of increased comments and commenting (and hopefully picking up a few new permanent readers along the way). If you still have up the old icon for July, please take it down (the red one).
  • If you notice another loading slow down or receive error messages for Stirrup Queens or Lost and Found, please let me know. Now I'm nervous every time I add anything to the side bar!

MISCELLANEOUS SUPPORT AND CELEBRATIONS (scary scans, anxious waits, OHSS, and a host of other reasons why these bloggers could use some additional support right now. Also, celebratory retrievals, transfers, and other good news)
  • Diary of an Infertile Mad Woman received scary news during a routine scan to start her IVF cycle. She is going in on the 6th to see if the growth in her uterus is a tumour. Please go flood her with support.

  • Rho at Nobaby Lane had her egg retrieval on Saturday. Congratulate her on the 15 eggs and wait with her as they decide when to do the transfer.
  • Whataboutmyeggs had a BFN. She feels like she will need to move on, but her husband has said that not having children would be his breaking point. She could really use some hugs.
  • Learning to Breathe's daughter is having feeding issues due to tracheomalacia and severe reflux. She has now been hospitalized for dehydration. She could use some support right now.
  • Bleu is in the wait after transfer. Go over and wish her good luck!
