Monday's Connections Abound

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The Face-to-Face Lost and Found page is permanently located beneath this current post. Old Connections Abound can be accessed via the date or subject archives listed on the sidebar. Check the submissions page, FAQ, and ways to get involved for additional information. Email me at thetowncriers@gmail.com with any questions/concerns.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

MISCELLANEOUS NEWS
New
  • I'm going to suck on the email and LFCA for one more week. I'm in the home stretch of finishing the book. I am experimenting with posting the LFCA in the morning rather than the afternoon. We'll see. I'm not so sure about it.
  • IComLeavWe trucks along--4 more days of mindful commenting.
  • Bridges continues to post daily. And it continues to be an amazing resource for insight into a multitude of worlds. And I'm not just saying that because I work on it.
Old
  • I have 33 posts currently for the first 100 Words project. Please click over to read and participate. The entries thus far have been incredible. My goal is to have a minimum of 48 so I can run a post every half hour. They are some of the most moving pieces of writing I've read all month.
  • Get Fed: At least on chocolate. Lori and Chicklet are doing a giveaway for free M&Ms. Seriously, it's a comment for chocolate, how can you not enter? Running this through the 25th until the contest is over. Just because I feel that way about M&Ms.
  • If you notice another loading slow down or receive error messages for Stirrup Queens or Lost and Found, please let me know. Now I'm nervous every time I add anything to the side bar!
NEW BLOGS (started in July or August 2008)
BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES (celebrate your birthday or blogoversary with the community. Send me date at any point and I'll post them on the correct day)

  • Last Thursday, Niki was remembering Myles who would have been 7 months old.
LOSS ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • None Today.

  • Baby Steps got the all-clear for this donor cycle and it's full steam ahead.
  • LisaMarie at Wobbly Bits could use a hug as her kitty, Pounces, passed away this weekend.
