Old Connections Abound can be accessed via the date or subject archives listed on the sidebar. Check the submissions page, FAQ, and ways to get involved for additional information. MISCELLANEOUS NEWS
New
  • I swear this week's lack of LFCA wasn't my fault for once--y'all aren't writing enough. There were only about 10 updates until Thursday afternoon.
  • New IComLeavWe list is up for September. Join the comment-loving-athon.
  • Bridges continues to post daily. And it continues to be an amazing resource for insight into a multitude of worlds. And I'm not just saying that because I work on it.
  • Help Her Out: Kicking You From the Inside has a post about a 5k that is being held in honor of Liz Goodman Logelin Sept 21st. For more information, you can go here and participate too.
  • Connection: Indyness would be interested in hearing from other bloggers who have had a two-vessel cord b/c we're there, haven't heard from their doc yet (she wasn't there for the u/s), and they don't quite know what to expect next.
  • Must Read Post: For Canadians and all who care about the state of affairs in this world.
  • Demeter's Joy went invite-only.
Old
  • If you notice another loading slow down or receive error messages for Stirrup Queens or Lost and Found, please let me know. Now I'm nervous every time I add anything to the side bar!
NEW BLOGS (started in August or September 2008)
BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES (celebrate your birthday or blogoversary with the community. Send me date at any point and I'll post them on the correct day)
  • Today is Amy’s birthday, even though she stopped getting older in 2001. Go over and wish her a happy birthday.
  • Yesterday was Calliope's blogoversary. Go over and wish her congratulations.
LOSS REMEMBRANCES (send in the dates of loss anniversaries and I will post them on the correct day)
  • Wednesday was one year since STE got her positive beta with the twins. Please go give her a hug.
  • I Just Can't Keep My Mouth Shut! was remembering two losses that both occurred on September 9th.
LOSS ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • None Today.
MISCELLANEOUS SUPPORT AND CELEBRATIONS (scary scans, anxious waits, OHSS, and a host of other reasons why these bloggers could use some additional support right now. Also, celebratory retrievals, transfers, and other good news)
  • Thinking Miracles could use a hug right now.
  • Antigone is officially and legally pre-divorced. She is also twenty-two weeks today, which is where she lost Henry.
  • Brenda’s sister is critically ill in the hospital with pneumonia. Brenda’s family is waiting out the next 24 to 48 hours which will tell them if her sister will recover or not. Please give her support.
  • Sara is still in the hospital and on magnesium sulfate now to stop the contractions and her cervix is dilating. The cerclage is still holding and Spot is doing ok, but she has really been through the wringer and could use some love.
  • From Here to Maternity is going in for a series of betas because she started spotting. Please go give her support while she waits for the next one this weekend.
  • Our Box of Rain is understandably anxious. At 39 weeks, she was told that her baby had an irregular heartbeat on the exact same day that a year earlier, she was told that her baby's heart had stopped. She goes in on Friday for a follow-up appointment. Please go give her hugs while she waits.
  • My Grasp at Sanity could use a hug right now.
  • Lyrehca from Managing The Sweetness Within deserves lots of cheers after completing her 2nd triathlon.
  • Still Passing Open Windows could use some positive thoughts after transferring two embryos on the weekend.
BEDREST BABES: on bedrest following infertility or loss and needing support. Drop in on them and keep them company.
  • Ten Times Crazier is in the hospital on bedrest for contractions and her cervix is dilating. She will be in the hospital until 34 weeks or until the twins come.
  • Gas Passer is on bedrest for the rest of her pregnancy.
  • Rebecca at My F*cked up Uterus is on modified bedrest and due in less than a month.
  • A Uterus Divided is on hospital bedrest.
PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENTS AND NEWS
  • Support Needed: Tomorrow is Rebuilding Myself's first u/s. She writes: "The last ultrasound we had was Hallowe’en of last year, and there were two healthy baby girls moving around the screen. It was also at that ultrasound that we heard the words TTTS for the first time. Two weeks later our girls were gone. Needless to say, I am a little nervous about tomorrow." In a world where everyone is only thrilled and can't understand her apprehension, she could use some extra words of kindness and also to know how we have her back.
  • Unexplain This! had her beta double nicely. Her u/s is scheduled for 9/23.
  • Indyness is having a girl!
  • Jumping Through the Hoops is settling into her pregnancy and graduated from the clinic. Go wish her congratulations.
  • Wobbly Bits is having a girl!
