758th Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

MISCELLANEOUS NEWS
New

  • Question: St. Elsewhere asks, "Having had AF like clockwork for almost the entire menstrual history so far, I find it difficult to grasp why my last pregnancy has completely thrown the uterus off-board. Rather than the 33 day cycle, I now have a 17 day cycle and the bleeding turns to spotting and remains for 7-8 days. Has anyone else experienced this? Does pregnancy really change the uterus's functioning so much?"

MISCELLANEOUS SUPPORT AND CELEBRATIONS (scary scans, anxious waits, OHSS, and a host of other reasons why these bloggers could use some additional support right now. Also, celebratory retrievals, transfers, and other good news)
  • Dear Finley was told her first story about how Finley's life had a real impact on a baby's birth and the fact that said baby is now alive. It was one of the main reasons she started blogging, so hearing the story of his effect was very moving.
  • Batty Nurse is waiting to see if insurance will cover a couple of surgeries.  One of those is a hysterectomy, which would mark a definite end to TTC for her.
  • Family Style Love has posted after a 7 month hiatus.  She is questioning whether her blog should continue, please go and tell her she has been missed!
  • After an anxious wait, Dresden from Creating Motherhood has had the go ahead to cycle this month.  Yay!
  • Ginger and Lime is in her 2ww after IVF #1. Please keep her in your prayers.
BEDREST BABES: on bedrest following infertility or loss and needing support. Drop in on them and keep them company. Blurbs running underneath the "new" line are from this week, and the ones above that line will disappear on Sunday. Please do not re-list bedrest blurbs.
