781st Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

New

  • IComLeavWe: the June IComLeavWe list is now open.
  • Project: Another month has passed and the May public holidays in France are over, so it's time for another installment of lostintranslation's Cultural Differences series! The topic this time: May Day. Yes, all those May public holidays, the never-ending series of long weekends and especially the importance of the workman's holiday, May 1st. Hop over to her blog and share how May Day is observed (or not) and/or what public holiday is the most important one in your corner of the world!

  • Project: Too Many Fish To Fry would like to invite everyone to a summer project, called Project Dreamcatcher. Do you have a dream or a project you've always wanted to pursue? It can be anything from planting a garden to writing a screenplay to planning a dream vacation to learning how to cook. Project Dreamcatcher  is a way to help get you motivated and on the right path. It's free and hopefully will be really fun. All you need is a blog and a dream! Click here for more.
  • Research: If you would like to participate in infertility research (and enter to win an Amazon gift card), go here and complete this survey!  Maria Rothenburger, the researcher, is a fellow IFer and PhD Candidate who wants to know more about how one can experience positive changes after infertility (who knew?).  Check it out, and please pass it on!"
  • Name Change: "Just a heads-up to any readers that Dear Finley has had a name change. It is now The Stars Apart, and I have purchased the corresponding domain name for the site. Any existing links or bookmarks to the old blogger domain will automatically redirect to the new address."
