MISCELLANEOUS NEWS
New
  • And we're back! There were over 150 updates for today's LFCA so I went with most recent or non-time sensitive. I'm now back on track for the rest of the week.
  • In the News: Very interesting article in the Daily Mail about a way to test embryos to see which have the best chance of implanting when returned to the uterus.
  • In the News: Lovesbabyhopes had a front page story in her local paper.
  • Good Information: Beth has a post about a site that offers a rebate on Lupron as well as great endo facts. She has links to the site on that post.
  • Connection: Rebecca at Clumsy Kisses would like to connect with others who have lost a parent while trying to conceive. "One of the things that hurts the absolute most right now is that I never got to make my dad a grandfather. If things had worked out how we wanted, my dad would have known his grandchildren. I want to know if anyone else has got through this, and how. If they could email me - clumsykisses@giraffeonastick.com - that would be good."
  • Question: Breakfast in Bedrest has a question about apnea monitors. If you can answer her question, head over to her blog.
  • Question: Letting it Out has a question about naming children and some interesting questions about name origin. If you're up to it, join the discussion on her blog.
  • Questions: Life in the Phisch Bowl has a bunch of questions ranging from laps to injectible meds. Swing by her blog and answer them.
Old
  • Go forth and grab people: let's get more non-IFers to join NaComLeavMo--National Comment Leaving Month (national refers to wherever you're living at the time...), this year's answer to the Commentathon. Okay, more IFers too, but the non-IFers as well.
  • If you notice another loading slow down or receive error messages for Stirrup Queens or Lost and Found, please let me know. Now I'm nervous every time I add anything to the side bar!
NEW BLOGS (started in April or May 2008)
BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES (celebrate your birthday or blogoversary with the community. Send me date at any point and I'll post them on the correct day)
  • It is Beagle's birthday today. Since her blog is invite-only, you can leave her a birthday message here and she can collect the good wishes.
  • It is Luna's birthday this week. Go over and sing her a little song.
LOSS REMEMBRANCES (send in the dates of loss anniversaries and I will post them on the correct day)
  • Last Sunday was three years since Catherine lost Alex. Please go give her a hug.
  • Thursday would have been Zak's second birthday. Please go give Brenda a hug.
  • Why Me? was remembering her unfulfilled due date last Saturday. Please go give her a hug.
