- Event: The American Fertility Association presents New York Family Matters - Infertility and Adoption. Conference Date: Sunday, October 5th, 2008 at Steiner Studios, in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Registration and continental breakfast begin at 8 a.m. and the day ends with a wine and cheese reception at 6:00 p.m. New York Family Matters is an all day educational event geared towards the needs of all people who wish to have a family. Egalitarian in nature, all three concurrent educational tracks will focus on the needs of couples, singles and the lgbt community. Panels, lectures and small round table discussions will cover topics such as in vitro fertilization, egg freezing, adoption, pcos, surrogacy, ovum and sperm donation, and much, much more. We also feature an all day exhibit hall of approx. 60 booths where you will have the opportunity to meet professionals form all areas of family building. - Event: IES Group--Infertility Education and Support. 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 7 – 8:30pm in the Community Room of Progress West Hospital in O’Fallon, Missouri! Women only as of right now...
- Fundraiser: Bitch magazine is holding a fundraiser. They need to raise $40,000 by October 15 or the magazine is going to fold. Bitch has written about IF (and even our blogging community!) in the past. Please help them out--even if it's just to spread the word. Just to give you a sense that this is actually attainable--they were at $1000 last night and they are already at $10,000 today. So every little bit counts.
- Question: FilmGal30 wants to know of anyone has read the book The Fertility Handbook: A Guide to Getting Pregnant. If so, she is interested to hear your thoughts on it.
- Watch It: The Today Show is doing a week-long series on fertility. I've missed it up until this point, but I'm going to try to catch it tomorrow. It looks like you can view some videos online.

- Celebrate It: Shaken Mama is a new blogger on Health.com. Go wish her congratulations and support her work.
- Giveaway: Life after Infertility and Loss is having a pretty dark giveaway in honour of her hysterectomy tomorrow (the gifts are not dark...just the guesswork). Please go over and not only guess the weight, but also give her good wishes for the surgery.

- G broke her ankle. Go keep her company while she recovers.

- Sara at Gas Passer is off of Mag Sulfate and the contractions are holding stable for now. She and Spot are doing well at the moment and want to say thank you for all of the good thoughts and prayers - it is so appreciated more than you know.
- Meredith is still on bedrest for the rest of her pregnancy, but is out of the hospital and resting at home. Go give her congrats for all of her hard work over the last month.
- Jo has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease and could use some love.
- Elizabeth is having terrible fear about losing the baby. Give her support until her next doctor's appointment next Thursday.
- Ten Times Crazier is in the hospital on bedrest for contractions and her cervix is dilating. She will be in the hospital until 34 weeks or until the twins come.
- Gas Passer is on bedrest for the rest of her pregnancy.
- Rebecca at My F*cked up Uterus is on modified bedrest and due in less than a month.
- A Uterus Divided is on hospital bedrest.
- None Today.
- Journey to Babeland gave birth to a girl, Kate, on September 16th. Go over and wish her congratulations.
