Tuesday's Connections Abound

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

New
  • The 1500 adoption/infertility/loss blogroll is now...searchable. I've created a custom search engine that searches only the blogs on the blogroll. You can access it in the top right corner of my blog.
  • Submit your own news to LFCA using the new form which is always linked on the right sidebar.
  • Online Baby Shower: She has helped so many people with U.T.E.R.U.S. She has been a Clicker extraordinaire forever. She is the bearer of used blackberries to small boys. She is Jen of Here We Go Again and Calliope is throwing her an online baby shower this Saturday, the 11th. Come over to this site for fun, games, shmoozing. We'll be hanging out and chatting through the comments section all day long. Plus, show Jen how much you appreciate all of the work she has done to reach out to community.
  • Join Along: a new Virtual World Tour brought to you by My Sanctuary.
  • Join Along: It's that time of year again...Time to recruit bloggers for the Great Blog Cross-Pollination! Come join in, last year was great fun! It's a great way to introduce yourself to a whole world of new bloggers....

  • Question: Building Heavenly Bridges is having a weird issue on her blog. When you click over, you'll see a pop-up box saying that another blog (Second Chance) requires a password. If anyone knows how to fix this issue with Typepad, could you click over and let her know?
  • Question: Barren Albion has an idea for a new site that she wants feedback on.
  • Question: Jill from Maybe It's Just Me is having some trouble getting used to Metformin, and would like some advice or stories from other "users".
  • Question: Bec has some questions about when to move on to IVF. Go over and give her your input and support as she and her husband prepare for the next step.

  • Have you been itching to make a difference in someone's world? Consider joining along to help with the current U.T.E.R.U.S. project. We currently have $298.62 on our way towards our $3000 goal as well as many donated items that will be sold on eBay. Coming soon: an etsy store that you can participate in.
  • Activism: Antigone Lost is spearheading a fantastic campaign for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day (Oct 15). Please go over and see what you can do.
  • Great Cause: It's Not the End of the World writes: "In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, through October 7th, Danielle will donate a portion of each blog she designs to The Susan G. Komen Foundation. She designed my blog and did a truly amazing job!   • Bridges continues to post daily. And it continues to be an amazing resource for insight into a multitude of worlds. And I'm not just saying that because I work on it.

  • Mama Wannabe's birthday was on Friday! It's not too late to go over and sing her a song.
  • Today is Barb's birthday! Go have some cake with her.
LOSS REMEMBRANCES (send in the dates of loss anniversaries and I will post them on the correct day)
  • Niobe lost her twins two years ago at 26 weeks and her surrogate is currently 26 weeks.
  • A few days ago was the one year anniversary of when Patrice got sick with HELLP and had to deliver her twins early.
  • October 9th marks the anniversary of Karen's miscarriage. Please go over and give her a hug.
  • Makes You Stronger scattered William's ashes last weekend.
  • Sunday was six months from Devin's due date at Relaxing Doesn't Make Babies.
LOSS ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • He Will Carry Me delivered her son, Isaac, and he died 16 minutes later after being held by his parents. Please go over and give her a lot of support.
MISCELLANEOUS SUPPORT AND CELEBRATIONS (scary scans, anxious waits, OHSS, and a host of other reasons why these bloggers could use some additional support right now. Also, celebratory retrievals, transfers, and other good news)
  • Who Shot My Stork could use a hug.
  • Creating Motherhood's grandmother has been diagnosed with melanoma. They have a big doctor's appointment today. Please go give them good thoughts.
  • Baby Maxx is having a tough time. Brenda has an update about him on her blog for Baby Quest.
  • Baby Wanted: Apply Within had a negative beta for her FET. Please go over and give her a hug.
  • It's Only Sadness or Euphoria was matched with an ED!
  • Is Conceiving Conceivable? is having a laparoscopy and HSG today. Please send her some good thoughts.
  • Emily needs a hug.
  • Rachel B is in the two-week wait after 100mg of Clomid and careful timing this cycle. She goes back to the doctor on Oct. 14 for a follow-up and ultrasound to check out her innards.
  • Leslee is in the second week of the TWW of their seventh dIUI. Her husband is out of town for a week to visit his very ill grandparents and she could use some courage to make it through this week without him.
  • October marks Rebecca's four year anniversary of TTC #1. Go give her a hug.
BEDREST BABES: on bedrest following infertility or loss and needing support. Drop in on them and keep them company.

I've had no clicks across, and I checked and for me the link comes up as broken- specifically a blogger message that the blog is not available which is weird to say the least because I'm wordpress??

May I ask for another go in the L+F?
