Tuesday's Connections Abound

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point to Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

  • Opportunity: Kristen at Sticky but Sweet has just been placed as the lead media buyer on a project regarding an infertility study at her job. The clinical trial is for a patch that would be an alternative to Clomid. Ferring Pharmaceuticals has developed several print advertising concepts to recruit people for the trial and she is looking for opinions on the messaging, layout, graphics, etc. on them. For example, is anything offensive to you? Would the ad generate your interest or curiosity enough to call? If not, what would you change to motivate someone to call for more information? Her proposal is due on Friday. If you are interested in participating in her focus group of sorts, please contact her at stickybean12@gmail.com so she can forward the ads to you for your feedback.

I spend a great deal of time in this room every day and find comfort looking up at the framed black and white images of our angelic children. I would be honored to add your baby's sweet face or name to the wall. I spend a few minutes just drinking them in and smiling before I begin writing. They inspire me. Please email me if you are interested at carajer@tds.net. Attach the photo, your baby's name and date they flew.
