Tuesday's Connections Abound

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point to Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

Bare Necessities, which has a website, has an amazing selection of large bras. My chest grew to porn star like proportions during pregnancy (38F might have been the size), and I found a number of bras there. I went to the store because it's near my parents' house but I have also ordered from there in the past and it's great. I highly recommend it.

Lane Bryant if you don't mind spending the money for them, they are super comfy (and on clearance the week after Christmas). They also have a Lane Bryant Maternity online that sells nursing bras if you want to kill 2 birds with one stone but I have no idea if those go on clearance or not.

Try Wacoal bras - you can get them at Nordstroms or as Mer said, Bare necessities. They have up to a G cup, iirc.

A 38G chiming in here (and yes, that is/was before pregnancy), and I found that the best selection for us larger breasted gals is found at Nordstrom. Not only that, but they do offer a measuring service so you're assured you'll get the right fit.

At the same time, be prepared to pay nicely. I got three bras about a year or so back and the total tab came to just over $200. But oh, the support! I don't think I'd ever had bras that held me like that before.

Also, sometimes you can find a nice Wacoal at TJMaxx in their lingerie section. I believe I've gotten two there in the past year or so for a much more manageable price.

Lady Grace if you have one around you is a great place for the large boobed ladies.

I second the Wacoal if you are looking for support in pregnancy. I have worn those for a loooong time.
Or, you can jump right to nursing bras. I am wearing Bravodo, (specifically this bra: http://www.bravadodesigns.com/product.asp?ID=4&area=US) and they are great. Not cheap, but very worth it. As they are nursing bras they have no underwire, so if you are finding that you need to sleep in a bra during pregancy, this is comfy.

Try Bra Smyth - I am that size by nature, and the fitting of bras I have were the best in my 35 years!

LB (as I call Lane Bryant) has a large selection of colors and prints for the boobtacular lady.

Wacoal is fabulous, but I've found them to be fantastically expensive.

You can also try online with Lady Grace, they carry lots of manufacturers.

Try ebay. I was a 34J pre-pregnancy and there are a few ebay stores based in the UK that carry large sizes at great prices.
