Wednesday's Connections Abound

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point to Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

Connections Abound

  • Kirtsy'd Pick O' the Day: Please vote for this one from Mrs. Spock. An interview on Our Bodies, Our Blog (the online version of Our Bodies, Ourselves) about pregnancy after infertility or a prior loss. It's a must read for anyone stressed during pregnancy. How do you vote? Simply by clicking on the link above and then clicking on the post's title. Why the Kirtsy'd Pick O' the Day? Click on that link in the header navigation bar above for the story. And send me stuff!

  • Opportunity: an email from a blogger: "I got an email from Reproductive Health Specialists and in it they "advertised" a contest for a free round of IVF. The basics of it are that you have to be between 21 & 42 and have BASIC health insurance to enter. Deadline to enter is 12/31. The link for anyone who is interested is They are located in Penn Hills and I believe are affiliated with UPMC Magee."
  • Big Breasted Ladies: Did that get your attention? Are We There Yet? is looking for a place to purchase a bra in the size of 38F. She is having a lot of trouble locating a bra that can support the goods in her post-IVF pregnancy.
