332nd Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point to Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

MISCELLANEOUS NEWS

  • Kirtsy'd Pick O' the Day: Please vote for this one from How to Get from 0 to Pregnant in 365 Easy Steps. The author explains how it seems inadequate to tell people that she is pregnant without them knowing the story that came before this point. I fell in love with her phrase "almost wasn't to be fetus." How do you vote? Simply by clicking on the words "this one" above and then clicking on the post's title. Why the Kirtsy'd Pick O' the Day? Click on that link in the header navigation bar above for the story. And send me stuff!
  • New Blogroll: Production, Not Reproduction has started an Open Adoption Blogroll. Go over and add your blog.
  • Question: Aliza has a young daughter that has been playing "mommy and baby" with her, with NG being the mommy and Aliza being the baby. This has gone on for months and she asks if there are any suggestions on how to handle the constant role reversal?
  • Question: Emilythehopeless may be moving to Savannah, GA and would love to talk to anyone who lives or has lived in the area. Contact her via her blog.

  • Fundraiser: Dragondreamer's Lair has a post up about the Cora Paige Project. The Macs want to build a community playground in their daughter's memory. A community of bloggers and etsy sellers has sprung up to try and help them with this project." Please click here to read more about the story and see how you can participate.
