481st Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

• Forums: If you are not a member of the forums, you will not have access to the LFCA on days when we are utilizing an open thread in the forums instead of posting on this site. Any blog reader or writer can become a member of the forums by clicking here and registering. On days when we don't have the LFCA, it also follows that I'll be slow on approving new members (that whole lack of Internet access thing) so please be patient.

• Busted's birthday is Tuesday. Go have a slice of cake with her.
• Sunny's birthday is Wednesday. Go over and sing her a little song.
• WiseGuy will be celebrating her 6th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, November 4, 2009! Go wish them congratulations.

• OM is struggling with the one-year-anniversary of E's birth today. Please give her support.

• A Little Bit Lost is celebrating what would be Noah's second birthday.
• November 5th will be a bittersweet day for Tootertotz - she will be meeting with the MFM doctor for an ultrasound to check on the baby, and she will also be remembering Erin's due date. Please go sit with her as she makes her way through the day.

MISCELLANEOUS SUPPORT AND CELEBRATIONS (scary scans, anxious waits, OHSS, and a host of other reasons why these bloggers could use some additional support right now. Also, celebratory retrievals, transfers, and other good news)

• RM's son has been diagnosed with a brain tumour. Please flood her with love and support.
• TBean's betas are going up again despite dropping last week. If anyone has experienced either an ectopic or taking methotraxate meds, please stop by as she will be discussing these topics with her doctors Tuesday.
• Kristin of Dragondreamer's Lair has started writing a column on crafts. Take a look at her page and, if you like what you see, subscribe to the feed.
• Donna needs support as she feels lonely and alone. Please, support her!
• Little Footprints will be having her FET on Thursday, which will immediately be followed by Maddie's 4-month birthday and Maddie's original due date (11/14). Please keep her in your thoughts in the coming weeks.
• Cam got bad news about her egg quality toady and could use a round of hugs.

BEDREST BABES: on bedrest following infertility or loss and needing support. Drop in on them and keep them company.

• Andrea has been put on bedrest after experiencing contractions for the last few days at just under 22 weeks.
• Carly has been put on bedrest until the end of her pregnancy, and has had some potentially disturbing news. Go send her some love and support.
