546th Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

Connections Abound

  • Kirtsy'd Pick O' the Day: Please vote for this one from Dreams and False Alarms. An absolutely gorgeous and brilliant post about coming to terms with using donor gametes to build their family. How do you vote? Simply by clicking on the words "this one" above and then clicking on the post's title. Why the Kirtsy'd Pick O' the Day? Click on that link in the header navigation bar above for the story. And send me stuff!
  • Project: The IComLeavWe list for March is now open.
  • Project: Parenthood for Me is extending the deadline for their blog entry/essay contest to March 31. There has been very little response. Erica hopes to use personal stories to help educate people on adoption, loss, and infertility. Use a favorite post. Rules, etc. are posted on the blog.

I just posted the first two photos of the series, The Miscarriage Diaries on flickr. More information can be found here. If anyone is interested in participating, please contact me at I'd love to hear from you!"
  • Project: Heather has kicked off an Open Adoption Blogger Interview Project for the month of March. Everyone with a connection to/interest in openness in adoption is invited to join in! Bloggers will be paired off to interview one another on their blogs. A great opportunity to meet new writers and readers! Registration deadline is 3/5.

Thank you for the support, but I just wanted to clarify that the baby in question isn't my daughter's biological brother. Different parents / birth parents. :)
