558th Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

MISCELLANEOUS SUPPORT AND CELEBRATIONS (scary scans, anxious waits, OHSS, and a host of other reasons why these bloggers could use some additional support right now. Also, celebratory retrievals, transfers, and other good news)
  • Gorillabuns is grieving the death of her 3 month old son last year, and has recently had some bad news regarding her fertility.
  • On Wings of Hope lost her beloved dog Molly this week. She could use a hug.
  • Katie had a lumpectomy on Friday. Hold her hand while she waits for the biopsy results.
  • OnceIWas is going in for her first IUI on Monday and is super nervous! She could use some support, and maybe some success stories!
  • Lisa at Infertile Ground is doing okay but wondering how long it will take to fully adjust to her post-TTC (with no kids to show for it) life.
BEDREST BABES: on bedrest following infertility or loss and needing support. Drop in on them and keep them company.
  • Sonja is 19 weeks with quads! Her cervix is not cooperating and she is having some congractions. She has been hospitalized. When she is released she will be on strict bedrest. The goal is for her to get to 27 weeks. She could use some support as she is pretty scared right now.
  • After losing her dear Will at 24.5 weeks, Eve is on continued bedrest until further notice with his twin, Abby. Eve is now back home from the hospital, although she is still on full bedrest.
  • BB is on bedrest with her twins because of cervical shortening and contractions.
  • Potty Mouth Mommy is on full bed rest at home because she is having contractions and has a history of incompetent cervix. Please give her some love.

Re: the bicornuate uterus, I have no stories to offer, but there is a Yahoo group of women with uterine abnomalities (called Mullerian anomalies) that is a wealth of information, & someone there might be able to assist.
