647th Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

  • Question: Keiko wants to know how people have set up online donations via their blogs. She's looking to create an online fundraiser, but it pretty clueless about what good sites to use to set one up, which ones take the least cut, and which ones are the easiest for folks to donate funds. Any suggestions would be helpful and can be made at the specific blog post.
  • Giveaway: Heather of Production, Not Reproduction is hosting a giveaway for a Sleepy Wrap baby carrier at her blog. Enter by 10/20!

  • Lis is coming up to the one year anniversary of her girls, Ayla Joy and Juliet Grace on 20th October and needs all the hugs and support you can muster.
  • On October 15th, My Hopeful Journey honoured National Infant and Pregnancy Loss Day by spreading white rose petals in a local pond. She invited others to join her and also lists some other ideas in remembering losses on this day!
LOSS ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • After a terrible and rough situation with her dad this past weekend, Christina posted that her mother died. Please go shower her with love.
  • Kristen found out at 18 weeks 5 days her baby wasn't growing. Today she found out she lost the baby. She goes in Monday. Prayers and support (not to mention introduction to this area of the blogosphere) would be greatly appreciated.
  • Still a Guest Room had an early miscarriage this past week. This was coming directly off a cycle with an ectopic pregnancy.
MISCELLANEOUS SUPPORT AND CELEBRATIONS (scary scans, anxious waits, OHSS, and a host of other reasons why these bloggers could use some additional support right now. Also, celebratory retrievals, transfers, and other good news)
  • FoxyPopcorn is starting her first DI cycle this week. Go give her good thoughts.
  • Francie's IUI has been delayed until Monday. Please go over and offer hugs as she cracks open another vial of Follistim.
  • Sooz is so frustrated with another BFN. She needs lots of hugs and support right now.
  • Oymos! WiseGuy has done it, She managed to turn in her 4OOth post!
  • The Queen at My Bumpy Journey had her first d-iui on Saturday. She'd love a little extra company during this two week wait.
  • Una Loca is having a hard time right now. She wants to process with another IVF attempt, but her husband doesn't. Please stop by and offer support or any suggestions.
  • Miss Ruby is having a hard time at the moment and could do with your support right now.
BEDREST BABES: on bedrest following infertility or loss and needing support. Drop in on them and keep them company.
  • Kristi is on modified bedrest for cervical trouble and a subchorionic bleed behind the placenta. Please go send her some encouraging words.
  • Amy is on modified bed rest with her twins.
  • Rachel is still on bedrest at nineteen weeks, but things aren't going as well as she'd like. She's opening at the stitch and starting to dilate. Please go support her as she hopes for more time.
  • Once A Mother is pregnant with twins, and has been put on bed rest indefinitely due to a large subchorionic hemorrhage.
PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENTS AND NEWS
  • Denise just got a BFP on a home pregnancy test. Go over wish her a big congratulations!
  • B of Non Geordie Mum is pregnant. She had a missed miscarriage at 17 weeks at the end of last year and is really scared of things going wrong again. Please send her your support.
