711th Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

MISCELLANEOUS NEWS
New
  • Recommendation: Amy writes: "I need some recommendations from ladies in the Western Chicago suburbs. I just found out that my RE no longer accepts the insurance we took specifically to get IF coverage. I need your recommendations for RE's. Please tell me who you see... why you like them... and what you DON'T like about them. Please be honest; I've been with the same RE for years and now need to switch. Thank you!"
  • Project: Lori is taking a poll to assess a few of our blogging habits and will later share the information. Click on over to register your answers to her four questions.
  • Fundraiser: The Lost Stork Foundation will be having two raffles in November to celebrate National Adoption Awareness Month. The first raffle will be adoption-themed for those who are going through domestic or international adoption. The second raffle will be filled with prizes that everyone will enjoy, to allow all our supporters to participate! If you are interested in making a donation or would like more information, please email Christa at christa@loststorkfoundation.org.
  • Fundraiser: Nicole is hosting the Save the Frosties Campaign. She is trying to help Gen aka Kakunaa of Spermination Station raise the money to store her frozen embryos for a year. No one should have to make a decision like that based on finances.
  • Blog Reopen: No Longer Broken is reopening an old blog. She writes: "Having two kids, the problem with staying pregnant might be totally figured out, but there is still fear that the miscarriages will start up again. Restarting the journey, not sure if this will be more on the normal side, have sex, get pregnant, have baby, or if it will have the miscarriages of before. Also, ovulation may be off, and in two months Clomid will be added to the equation if not pregnant by then. So, time to find out if, normal or Secondary IF."
  • Blog Ending: After many amazing years, Jo of Finding Her Way has decided that it is time for an ending of sorts with her blog. She doesn't know when, or if, she will return. Please come over as she thanks the amazing blogging community, and takes her leave.
