724th Issue of the LFCA

Welcome to today's edition of Connections Abound. The point of Lost and Found is to level the support playing field. When LFCA works correctly, the newest blogger with the smallest readership can receive the same level of support as the oldest blogger with the largest readership. Anyone can submit news to LFCA by clicking here.

Lost and Found is open to anyone in the
infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, pregnancy-and-parenting after infertility, assisted conception, living child-free after infertility or loss community (as well as anyone I inadvertently missed on that list). Please support the list as well as anyone posting announcements below.

  • Slowmamma is having spotting and cramping at 18 weeks. Please stop by and give her a hug.
  • Sweet Mo of Life and Love in the Petri Dish cannot seem to catch a break. Trying to make the difficult move to egg donor has been rife with complexities. She could use a break and a string of miracles, actually, but in the meantime some extra love would be welcome.
BEDREST BABES: on bedrest following infertility or loss and needing support. Drop in on them and keep them company. Blurbs running underneath the "new" line are from this week, and the ones above that line will disappear on Sunday. Please do not re-list bedrest blurbs.
  • None Today.
  • Finding My New Normal's DE cycle was a success! She actually got her positive beta back in October but has been too scared to announce her pregnancy over here until now. Now that she's hit 12 weeks she figures it's time to embrace this pregnancy. Even though she knows there is never an "all clear," she is hopeful that this pregnancy will end well and she will be bringing home her rainbow baby in June 2012.
  • JustHeather is celebrating two lines from IVF #3 and after 3 years & 4 months of TTC #1!
  • Rachel is 7 weeks pregnant after a stillbirth (at 33 weeks) in May.
  • Bhaji Nightshift is here. The third and final Indian Takeaway joined big sisters Saag and Naan by c-section on the 8th Dec. Go wish Geohde congratulations.
  • Betty and Barney Rubble finalized the adoption of their son, Rocky Bernard Rubble on December 16, 2011 which also happened to be the unfulfilled due date of their son Bam-Bam due in 2008. What a Christmas Miracle for this family!
