  • Project: April is proposing an ALI community tea exchange. Please comment on the post or e-mail her at april.pachuta@gmail.com if interested.
  • Business: My Hopeful Journey - Infertility Treatment Tracking application is preparing to open their virtual doors on June 1st. My Hopeful Journey’s mission is to simplify infertility treatment by making it possible to better integrate treatment into a woman’s daily life. Please go to their site if you want more information.
  • Project: still life with circles is kicked off a blog project called Right Where You Are, where bloggers talk about right where they are in their grief. Each post is titled by the length since they lost their child(ren). Go check it out, add your experience, share in the grief journey.

  • Mina's mother has passed away, only a few weeks after her diagnosis with pancreatic cancer.
  • Twangy's father-in-law, known as KDiddy on the blog, has died suddenly.
  • Jennifer delivered her son Gavin at 18.5 weeks. He lived for approximately 1 hour. She had been on bedrest since January. Gavin was conceived through a successful IVF after 5 years of trying, which included 10 IUIs, 1 miscarriage, 1 failed IVF, and 1 failed FET.
  • Augusta has just learned that she is miscarrying & is devastated. Please go abide with her and flood her with support.
  • Are We There Yet? miscarried earlier this week. Please go leave her a word of support.

  • Unaffected over at For We Are Bound by Symmetry finally has some answers. After 4 years of TTC, battling "unexplained infertility", Dr. Sher has recently diagnosed her with activated natural killer cells and antiphospholipid antibodies. He has recommended Intralipids+IVF. If you have any advice/experience/opinions to offer her, please stop by.
  • Sunny Jenny returned from a blogging hiatus to report that she is about to file the adoption papers for her daughter, and she has just started a new IVF cycle. Wish her luck on both accounts!

  • In a bizarre and worrying turn of events, Egghunt's first beta post-FET was in the 11000s. The next beta showed the same figure and the clinic is suspecting a mix-up. Currently, there is neither a clear signal if Egghunt is pregnant, nor the actual numbers are out. Please pray for her and send her some good vibes.
  • My Path to Insanity and Beyond - My TTC Journey finally got her long awaited BFP after 2.5 years, 4 IVF transfers, 2 operations, 3 semen analysis and countless blood tests. Please go wish her congratulations!
  • For lostintranslation, her last FET resulted in a gorgeous BFP. Go sing her songs of delight!
  • SurlyMama got a BFP after an eventful 2ww.

  • Workshop: Jes at Baby Steps to Motherhood has organized and is offering a Fertility Wellness Workshop in NYC on June 18. The workshop is for women who have had difficulty conceiving, who have attempted IUI, IVF or DE or for any woman how has experienced a pregnancy loss. Four practitioners will present ways in which to relieve stress, offer nutritional, health and wellness tips, info on acupuncture and reproductive health, as well as fertility yoga and mind/body meditation. The event is to offer wellness support to those on their path to motherhood.

  • Giveaway: A Field of Dreams is having an awesome book giveaway for the IF community. The Infertility Handbook by Angela Hutchins. This is the essential reference book for couples diagnosed with infertility. It covers everything from understanding your reproductive cycle to what your options are if a biological child is not possible. The causes of infertility — both male and female — are examined, treatment options are explained, and a wide range of support services are included.
  • Advice: Kathy at Four of a Kind's sister and brother-in-law are preparing to celebrate the first anniversary of their daughter's Homecoming Day next week! They are looking for ideas and suggestions (from fellow adoptive parents, family members, friends of and/or adoptees) in regards to developing annual traditions for this special day. They are also looking for recommendations for age appropriate board books about adoption to read with their toddler. Please share your thoughts and recommendations in the comment section of this post. Thank you!
  • Project: Sunnydaytodaymama is hosting Sharing Hope, a weekly link collection to share images and words of hope with IF friends and anyone who has some hope to share or is needing hope. Sunnymama would love others to join in and add their links or just call by with support as she tries to find hope again after another failed IVF cycle.
  • Conversation: Interesting conversation going on over at Baby for 1 in response the recent British Columbia courts decision to overturn sperm donor anonymity.
  • Organization: Lisas Stars is an organisation providing knitted blankets and hats to babies born sleeping between 16-23 weeks gestation due to the lack of these items being available at hospitals throughout the UK. Lisas Stars are continually looking for donations of wool as well as small teddies, candles as well as knitted blankets and hats. If you would like to knit or donate, please contact lucy@lisasstars.org.uk.

  • Lynn is going to need a lot of support over the coming months as she endeavours to lose 30 lbs. Her RE has stated that they can start talking treatment options once she has lost this weight. After 7 1/2 years TTC without any luck, she and The Hubs are eager to start the next leg of the journey!
  • After having an uterine septum resection on 4/28, Bring on the Babies... is going back on 5/24 (Tuesday) to see if it is fully gone. If it is, she will continue BCP and anticipate starting IVF the middle of June. If it is not gone, she will need more surgery and will have another 2 month wait. Prayers needed!
  • Being Barren is feeling very alone right now and could use some extra love.
  • Surly Mama is having quite the TWW! First her car was stolen and then she got into a minor car accident while borrowing a friend's truck. She could use any spare positive energy you have as she waits to find out if her latest IUI was successful.

  • My Reality's husband has been offered a transfer to an office three hours away. If they move, they would be much further away from their extended families, but with the increased salary would be able to try to build their family through IVF or adoption and give their daughter a sibling. She's looking for thoughts and advice.
  • Elana from Elana's Musings has been having some trouble with her in-laws not liking her day care provider - who happens to be one of her best friends. She's really distraught and could use some support and comfort.
  • The Childless Mom is supposed to undergo egg retrieval this week, but it keeps getting pushed back because her follicles are just not responding well enough to Bravelle. Keep her in your prayers and visit her blog to give her some love, encouragement, and support this week.
  • After infertility, miscarriage, babyloss, and finally bringing home premature twins Bobby and Maya from the hospital in 2009, Michele and Peter are adopting a baby boy at the end of June!

  • Do I Have to Be a Dink had a bleeding scare and spent the weekend on bedrest after a trip to the ER. On Monday she found out that the placenta tore. The specialist is concerned the baby might not get enough nutrients. She's on bedrest and a 2ww for an ultrasound to monitor the baby's progress.

  • Sass just had a tumor removed from her uterus that has come back pre-cancerous. She is 27 and now possibly facing having to have a hysterectomy and is heartbroken.

  • Tara recently started a blog to document her pregnancy - she is carrying a baby who will not live unless a huge miracle happens. She could use a lot of support.
  • Hillary would like prayers of support for her current pregnancy. After the loss at 21 weeks of her previous baby, her family is now dealing with a scary diagnosis. The newest baby was found to have calcifications on his/her heart. Combined with Hillary's age this could be a 2nd marker for a chromosomal defect.
